Mentor programme was launched to help our students easily accommodate in the new country. Upon request, a student gets connected with a Hungarian and an international mentor even before coming to Hungary. Mentors are students themselves, and they are happy to answer any questions about the university and the city and assist newcomers with different kinds of issues, such as administrative processes and paperwork. Besides, many exciting intercultural events are organized within the mentor programme; they include board games, movie nights, picnics and trips. Therefore, participation in the mentor programme is an opportunity to easily adapt to the new international environment, make new friends and learn more about Hungary and the cultures of each other.
How to request a mentor?
Prior to their arrival to Hungary, all Stipendium Hungaricum students will be informed by email about an opportunity to request a mentor with more detailed instructions about how to do it.
In the case of other study programmes (Erasmus, self-paid, etc.), mentor support can be requested by contacting the senior mentor (the contacts of the senior mentor will be updated later).
How to become a mentor?
